Football prediction for CSKA – Makedonia GP

Hello once again to our football prediction site! Stay with us because we will offer you a preview of the Conference League game between CSKA Sofia and Makedonija GjP. Let’s get to work!

This tie is more open than ever after a 0-0 draw in the first leg in Skopjie. The Bulgarians controlled the game and they were never in danger, but they were also unable to pull the trigger when it was needed. In the second half Makedonija GjP played with 10 men after Mateus was sent off, but CSKA still didn’t find a way to score.

Everything can be different now in Sofia. CSKA will have the support of their fans and usually they are much more dangerous when playing at home. The new head coach Sasa Ilic is still trying to make the team play like he wants and it’s going to be a long process. CSKA can’t lose time here, though – their main goal is reaching the Conference League group stage.

Ilic could make changes in CSKA Sofia’s starting eleven on Thursday. His countryman Lazar Tufegdzic is one of the players who could be introduced in the starting eleven. Meanwhile the French midfielder Amos Youga could help the Bulgarians get even more control in the midfield area.

Makedonija GjP don’t have much match practice because the Macedonian league is still about to start. The game on Thursday is going to be their third official one for the 2022/23 season. This could be a problem.

Obviously the Brazilian midfielder Mateus won’t play in Sofia after his red card in the first leg. The Ivorian Adama Samake could replace him in the starting eleven. Samake played in the first game as well, but after coming in as a substitution. The Colombian Jhon Mena is also an option for the manager Muharem Bajrami.

That’s what our football prediction site can tell you about the upcoming Conference League game between CSKA Sofia and Makedonija GjP. It should be an easy one for the Bulgarians, but let’s see.
